What: Join us for the kick-off event to Chicago Craft Beer Week! Celebrate the continuation of warm weather with our 8th annual Beer Under Glass! This year’s Beer Under Glass will again be brought to you by the Garfield Park Conservatory Alliance (GPCA) in partnership with the Illinois Craft Brewers Guild.

The Hop Review Presents: ULTRA FRESH II

What: Last Chicago Craft Beer Week, The Hop Review brought together a slew of local breweries to showcase their freshest beer —kegged, canned, or bottled within five days of the event. For CCBW 2017, they are taking it to the next level. On Saturday, May 20th, Ultra Fresh II will feature the best breweries Chicagoland has to offer, all pouring the freshest beer you’ll ever get your hands on.

Brewers’ Banquet

What: A souped-up version of our Monday Barman’s Banquet, The Brewers’ Banquet includes THE BURGER: Our Custom Blend with Ancho Chile-Tomato Jam, Arugula, Pickled Sweet Onions, and Raw Milk Cheddar, and a Flight of six 5oz beers for $15.

You can also get the regular Barman’s Banquet (burger, 16oz beer, and bourbon shot for $15) if you prefer.

Beer & Art: DryHop/Eris Brewery & Cider House/Empirical Brewery Collab Release + Artist Tara Zanzig + Tap Takeover

What: Release of DryHop/Eris collab, work by Tara Zanzig, a Chicago based artist working in mixed media, as well as a tap takeover by breweries featured in Tara’s series – Maybe It’s The Beer Talkin: A Portrait Series of Chicago Brewers – Eris, Empirical, Pipeworks, Spiteful, Off Color, and Goose Island. We will also release 1 new piece featuring Empirical Tara that she created for this year’s Beer & Art.

Wednesday, May 24
DryHop/Lincoln Park Zoo Beer Collab Release Party

Where: DryHop Brewers

Beer: Ursus Mapletimus, a Smoked Maple Imperial White Ale
What: For the 4th consecutive year, we are partnering with Lincoln Park Zoo on the release of a new beer! This year, we’re raising money for the Walter Family Arctic Tundra Exhibit and its first inhabitant Siku, the Zoo’s 6-year-old male polar bear. We will donate a dollar from each pint of “Ursus Mapletimus” sold to the Zoo and this is during the entire time it’s on tap. These proceeds will support polar bear conservation and vital climate change education.
