The main characteristic of this series, is that it represents how things are made, the exploding colors of the things that we place in our system and how everything reacts with each other to makes us feel good.

Wednesday, May 23
DryHop/Black Acre Beer Collab Release Party

Where: DryHop Brewers
When: 5pm-Close
Beer: We’re really excited because this collab beer is a newer style that hasn’t been brewed by many breweries yet.

That said, our collaboration with Black Acre is a Brut IPA with Omega Yeast Labs’ new yeast strain originating from the farmhouses of Norway – Hornindal Kveik – along with grape-forward hops Hallertau Blanc, Enigma, and Nelson Sauvin, and Viognier Grape Must.

Get ready for a Champagne-like IPA that’s dry and full of grape flavors and aromas.

Hosted at Theater on the Lake against the backdrop of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline, this unique event challenges brewers to be creative by producing and pouring their favorite tropical brews. Guests are invited to sip on tropical-inspired craft beer from more than 60 local and out-of-state breweries and sample gourmet small bites prepared by Chicago chef Cleetus Friedman. Creative tropical attire is encouraged.
